Keepday Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Keepday is published by Mixaline. This policy describes the information the app and this website handle. Contact us at mixaline27@gmail.com.
What we collect
Keepday works offline. Habits, check-ins, and settings are saved in local storage on your device, and you can use the app without an account. If you create an optional account or buy Plus and turn on cloud sync, we store your account, synced habits, and purchase history so the app can sign you in and sync. The app also sends a crash report when it crashes or hits an error.
- Account email and password, through Supabase Auth.
- Habit data you choose to sync: habits, check-ins, and settings.
- Purchase history needed to verify Premium and Plus, through Google Play and RevenueCat.
- Crash reports when the app crashes or hits an error, through Sentry.
We don't show ads and we don't sell data. Keepday does not use advertising or analytics SDKs. It does send crash reports to Sentry, described below. Data is encrypted in transit.
Crash reports
When Keepday crashes or hits an error, it sends a crash report to Sentry, a service that helps us find and fix bugs. The report includes technical details such as your device model, operating system version, app version, and what the app was doing when the error happened. It does not include your email address, habit names, or screenshots. We use crash reports only to fix problems in the app.
Your data stays on your phone
Until you turn on cloud sync, habits, check-ins, streaks, and settings stay in local storage on the device. A crash report does not upload that habit data. A backup file is written only where you choose to save it. Local data remains on the device until you uninstall the app. Uninstalling does not delete a cloud account.
Optional account
You can create an account with an email and password. Sign-in is Supabase Auth in the Singapore region. The Keepday website and API do not keep a separate copy of your password. Supabase stores the credential so it can sign you in.
Cloud sync
Plus cloud sync stores habit data (habits, check-ins, and settings) in Supabase. The app sends that data through this site's API, which runs on Vercel, using your Supabase access token. Sync is optional. The app still works offline without it.
Shared streaks
If you are signed in, you can create a link that shows one habit's streak to anyone who opens it. Plus is not required, and creating a link does not turn on cloud sync. The page shows the name you type for that link, the habit name unless you hide it, the emoji and color when you send them, and the streak as of the last time you created or updated the link. It does not show your email. You can turn the link off at any time. Deleting your account removes the link.
Notifications
Reminders are local. Keepday schedules them on your device after you grant notification permission. They are not sent from our servers.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Google Play. We never see your card number. RevenueCat receives the app user id and purchase history so Keepday can verify entitlements. Premium is a one-time purchase. Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. Google Play and RevenueCat handle those records under their own privacy policies.
Retention
We keep an account and its synced data until you delete the account. Deletion removes the account and synced data within 30 days, and immediately in practice. Local data stays on the device until the app is uninstalled. Google Play and RevenueCat may keep purchase records under their own policies after you delete your Keepday account. Sentry may keep crash reports under its own policy. Those reports do not include your email address, habit names, or screenshots.
How to delete
You can delete the account in any of these ways:
- In the app: Settings > Account > Delete account.
- On the web: sign in at Delete account and confirm.
- By email: write to mixaline27@gmail.com from the address on the account.
Deleting the account removes the Supabase user, synced habits, check-ins, settings, share links, and the entitlement row. It does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel Plus in Google Play if you do not want it to renew. See the terms for how Plus billing works.
Children
Keepday is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email mixaline27@gmail.com and we will delete that account and its synced data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. The new policy applies from that date. For a material change to account or sync data, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
